Programming 10CHP

Have a Lancair with one servo each aileron and one servo each flap.
Using 14 channel receiver.
Which plug number in receiver for each servo?
How do I set up so ailerons work together correctly and flaps together with VR(E) as control for flaps?
Thanks for any help.
The manual is totally confusing to me.
I am learning but I feel like I need to be a computer programmer to understand all this stuff.

I figured it out.
Still not very easy to understand the programming in 'Futaba-Speak'.

Go into Wing set up In Model set up screen and choose 4 surface wing the whole thing then becomes automatic, I can uderstand your confusion if you have come from a JR set or Spektrum they do not have the multiple surface wing set ups and have to use mixers to achive what the Futaba sets do automatically.

RE: Programming 10CHP

I am not sure what you mean 'model' setup. The only thing I can find is in the parameter menu and it shows different wing setups for gliders. There is only one acro setup for the kind of airplane I am flying.
Once I figured out that you set it up with ailerons on 1 & 7 and flaps on 5 & 6 it all came together.
This information is buried in the 10C manual about half way through and not easily found.

Futaba should set up this manual differently. They should start with what kind of airplane you have and then how many servos there are and their configuration.

A flow chart would be most helpful for the average guy.

Instead Futaba shows many examples of how to change things so you get the hang of it by trial and error.

I am a layman and this language is confusing as all get out.

Cashpoboy:

Your confusion stems from the fact that BaldEagel is not referring to the 10C. He has to be using one of the other advanced transmitters, which have a very different programming style...the 8FG, 12FG, 12Z, or 14MZ. Those transmitters allow you to setup different wing types in a model setup area. Your programming of the 10C is correct.

RE: Programming 10CHP

Thanks Bax
I am a diehard Futaba fan.
The more I play with this thing the better I get at it.
Just a heads up in the 10C manual.
The switch logic function instructions in the manual make absolutely no sense to me.
Not even sure what this does. I am fairly certain I want to use it for idle-down and throttle cutoff.
I know what I would like for it to do but the manual is vague at best.
Would like for 3 way switch 'C' to be used. If 'C' is up, idle down off. If 'C' is middle, then idle-down on, but no engine kill function. And with 'C' down, idle-down is on and allows engine kill with switch 'F'.
If you could describe settings for me I would be grateful.
Thanks
