10 CHP Model programming

Hi Bax.

I had asked you a while back about transferring my model memory from a 9CHP to my 10CHP. I currently have a CAMPac installed in my 10CHP Tx making a total of 20 model memory slots available. 14 of them are used right now. Slots 19 & 20 are used on the CAMPac card. The 10CHP is a 2.4 system. The 9CHP is a 72 MHz system. I believe that slot #19 & #20 can be erased on the card.

I want to take my brand new 2.4 receivers and just replace the existing 72 MHz receivers in the airplanes and helis that are on the older 72 MHz system.

Can I just remove the servo connectors in the older receivers and put them in the same channels when I install the newer 2.4 receivers? 1 to 1 , 2 to 2, 3 to 3 , 4 to 4, etc...

Do I need to change any of the model programming when converting to the newer 2.4 system?

Thanks in advance for the help :D,

Mike

If you convert an existing transmitter to the 2.4 GHz FASST system by installing the transmitter modules, you just plug the servos into the slots in the receivers that correspond to the channel they need to be. The channel order won't change. However, when in doubt, you move a stick and try servo slots until the servo's plugged into the correct slot.

Hi Bax.

I am NOT converting a Tx over to 2.4. I have a 10CHP 2.4 Tx, how do I move the model proamming form my older 9CHP 72 MHz sytem, to a 10CHP 2.4 system?

Thanks,

Mike

Here's the FAQ on moving programming from a 9C to a 10C:
