Programming shutter release in Pmix on a T8UAF

Hello, I'v got an old Futaba T8UAF which I really like. Some don't like the complicated nature of it and I guess thats why I am here.
I'm using channel 8 on switch F to trigger a "Prism" module from Hexpert Systems. That trainer switch only has one rate direction so the module is not programming. It looks like I need two directions and a center to program the Prism.
Channel 8 to Channel 8, 100%+ and 100%+, no link, looks like slave is on (can't switch that) switch f
If anyone could lend some info I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!

Unfortunately, you will not be able to do this if you are using switch F, is there another switch you could assign this to?

I guess switch "c", its a 3 position switch. Is there one you would recommend using? Programming instructions? Thanks so much!

Any open 3 position switch that you are not using would be fine.

Am I correct that you want the Center position to be more or less empty, or that it leaves the switch neutral? If so, then I would have you do two Offset Pmixes in your radio, assigned to the switch in the Down position and the Up position.

An Example:

Pmix 1

Set INH to Off or On

Set the Master as Offset
Set the Slave as CH8
Cursor Right and set the rate to +100%
Cursor Right leave the Link off
Cursor right set the Switch to C in the Up position.

Now go to the next Pmix and do the same exact thing, but set the Switch to C Down.

This will leave the Center of the switch free but allow you to set the Zoom with one direction of the switch and the shutter with the opposite direction.
