12FG timer setting problem
 

Problem: I set timer 1 for 15 minutes with the timer counting down and activated by the throttle position. I now want to change to time to 20 minutes but the timer won't reset. With the countdown stopped and the cursor put on the timer and the edit button pressed to change the time setting by rotation, the timer restarts the countdown. Won't accept a new time setting.

Solution ?

Hi George,

Are you using a switch for the on/off of the timer in that menu, or do you have the timer set to only turn on and off by the throttle stick?

The timer starts when the throttle stick is advanced and stops when the stick if brought back to its lowest position. I have assigned the switch at the upper right corner of the transmitter to reset the timer to its programmed time.

Hi George,

I'm sorry, I can only jump on here when things are slower around here and even though it's Friday, I have been very busy.

So when you are on the Main menu page and you are highlighting and pressing the word Timer in the box on the right hand side of the page, or you are highlighting the small Clock indicator at the center top of the page, you are entering into the Timer menu? Then you are using the cursor to go to Alarm, and once the 15 is highlighted your are pressing the dial down, but nothing is happening?

When you go into Alarm, and change the amount of time on the timer, the top indicator that says Timer1 or Timer2 will reset to 00:00. automatically.
