If I'm not mistaken the WJ1 carb is a governed carb.
I do know that every Walker 4.2 I've had and have seen came with an SDC 80 non governed carb . I would try to locate an SDC 80 and still add the static vent line and if the carb is exposed outside the cowl add a velocity stack

If you can’t find an SDC 80 carb, a Walbro WJ 71 will work just fine. The WJ 71 is commonly used on most 85 to 120 size engines these days. Readily available from many vendors. The WJ 71 is a better carb than the SDC 80 ever was. Follow CK1’s advice on the stack and the vent line.
