Default Desert Aircraft spark pick up on 3w106

If you put a desert aircraft spark pick up on a 3w 106 do you need to do any mods? Also what is the timing of the magnet compared to the crank key way on the hub look from the front where the prop mounts too?

I have succcessfully swapped 3W and DA ignition pick-ups without any modifications. I don't know the answer to the second question.

Can some one give me an idea what is the clock position is of the magnet looking from the front of the motor with pistons at top dead center.

I think my hub spun free from the crank.
