impressive! i heard you can run gasoline through glow engines, with stock carbs with lots of oil, and with the plug constantly ignited

Below is a test I done with a MB290 blower engine. No glow driver was needed using a OS max 4 cycle glow plug. There was ice on the engine....so I done the cold start test....it worked. Thank AV8TOR for his help in doing this. Capt,n

John,
That was a good test.
You were running some methanol, maybe 25%. The Enya used 0% methanol. They seem to be doing something different. The Enya 3 is another hot plug.

AV8TOR, I am getting all excited about taking a SuperTiger 2300 and have Ken Lambert install needle bearings on the rod and a Walbro carb adapter. Then use the Gas/glow mix and a hot glow plug. It should be a good running engine without the hassle of ignition components and battery weight. If it did not pan out...I could install a RCEXL ignition and run strait gas with 32-1 oil. Capt,n

AV8TOR, I always like this photo of your cut little daughter...she likes engines just like her dad! Capt,n

It should work great Captain John, and I've been thinking about doing one too. I really like my Super Tiger .90 on Gas/glow.
Thanks for the compliment about my daughter. She's "her daddy's little girl" for sure. Her first word was "airplane" believe it or not, her second was "Daddy". One time when she was three, we had to be away from home for a week. When we got back, she immediately ran into the hobby room and hugged and patted each airplane!

I just want to know what kept that Giles from rolling off that cedar chest? If that had been mine it would have been on its head on the floor!
