GT33 quits running.
My OS GT33 likes to stop running pretty much every time I land. Or, if it doesn't quit, it "sags" to a point where I have to bump the throttle to keep it idleing. Anybody else fighting this problem??

RE: GT33 quits running.
A club mate of mine is having trouble maintaining idle. It appears to be one of the "quirks" of this engine during running in. It either idles to high after a run or it quits.

RE: GT33 quits running.
Rich engines seldom quit..... and they don't suffer from that "high idle hang" thing either. That's nothing special to this engine. Pretty well documented in the DLE 20 and 30 strings as well. Especially the 20 cc, but that has a lot to do with their ignition module.

RE: GT33 quits running.
Myself and a friend have both ran our 33's for the first time at the weekend and they both suffer from rough running at the bottom end. We spent all day saturday adjusting the needles which made no difference, so it does appear to be just a quirk of this engine. Lets hope it settles down after it's run-in.
It run's well down to 2200rpm, it's below that the issue starts. My friend was first to run his and at first he thought the throttle servo was the culprit.
