Default Who makes a 24cc to 26cc gas engine of equal or better quality than the Zenoah G26?

Who makes a 24cc to 26cc 2-stroke gas engine of equal or better quality than the Zenoah G26 for airplane applications? I know the Zenoah is a bit on the heavy side, but I don't care about weight for what I'm doing. I also don't care about ignition system type. I'm just looking for something strictly between 24cc and 26cc in size that offers good performance and will last a long time. Also, it would be nice to not have to spend a bunch more than what the Zenoah G26 currently goes for. Thanks!

Ahh, just get the Zenoah.

No RC engine with a cantilevered crank can come close to lasting as long. No other industrial engines will be as all ready for RC use that are in the OEM market (that I can think of).

The guy I bought my 20ei from had two brand new that were for a project that just got shelved. I'm sure you can find one if you look (he is out of hobby now sold everything).

An OS GT 22. More power less weight. 50:1 oil mix.

I completely agree with kmeyers about a Zenoah's lifespan. If you don't crash it and take care of it otherwise, it will be around a very long time. But lifespan is just one criteria for selecting an engine. I select engines by size, style ( side, front or rear carb), weight, power output, etc. among other points. An engine has to fit the airframe it is going into. It has to fit the application. If the Zenoah fits, it is certainly a good choice. If not, there are many other good choices.
