Default DLE vibration Damping During Break-in

I just bought a new DLE 35RA and in the manual it states:

"During the break-in period, it is recommended that the engine be installed on the aircraft or a test stand with an appropriate shock absorber. Otherwise it is probable that vibration could rebound back to the engine and serious damages may occur during the break-in period. "
I ordered a DLE Damping Base, but after getting it I realized it is for a DLE 85 only. A web search came up empty for a damping base for anything but the DLE 85.

Any suggestions as to what I might do to satisfy this requirement for a "shock absorber" for the DLE 35RA?

DLE was called under a different name. A user was injured when his new engine broke a mounting lug while running in a vise. They were sued and the mounting lugs were inlarged. The air frame alone is just fine as a damper. All the legalize is just that.

what kmeyers said. Just mount it and go. Those are good engines. You shouldn't have any issues.

If you break in a lot of engines or repair and tune a lot of engines look this over . I have been using one for the last 3 or 4 years and they are great for running your engines on a dampened engine stand for tuning or breaking in . I've run everything from 17cc to 150cc on it . They are pricey but with a little ingenuity you can build your own version without encroaching on the patent rights and save yourself a little of the green stuff that folds .

Thanks CK1 for the info. Actually, the test stand I'm building will have large rubber bottle stoppers as feet to provide some shock absorption. I'll post a picture when I'm finished.
