Default homelite 300 classic

does anyone know if this saw has a base or is the bottom bearing cap part of the saw case IE the gas and oil tank. looks like a 20 inch bar so it is probably 45- 46 cc

volksman: Do you have this enngine or just wondering if this model is a easy one to convert? I do not know exactly what you need to know. Can someone chime in and help Thanks Captinjohn

this saw is for sale in a second hand store 99.00 may be able to dicker want a more powerful alternative to a us 41

With 3 ci, it should be a 48?
