US 41 questions
I have a US 41 on a 1/4 scale SIG Spacewalker. I bought the model used ready to fly. I have no manual for the engine and don't find much online about it.
Can anyone tell me what the recommended Gas/Oil mix is for this engine?
Anything else I should know about it?
I haven't run it yet.
Thanks

RE: US 41 questions
When I had my US 41, I ran it at 32 to 1. Don't remember who or how I found that information, but it's what I used. Probably 40:1 would be just fine as well. 32:1 is pretty rich....I got rid of mine because I thought it was an overweight dog (compared to what's out there now!)

RE: US 41 questions
TLROLIFF, I am running two of the US41 engines on giant scale warbirds.. Both are dependable, fine running engines.
I did toss the stock muffler, it is too restrictive, and changed the carb to a Walbro #144..These changes only take a few minutes, and around $50 bucks..It will be fine on the Spacewalker.. NO!! it will not run like a $700.00 alphabet engine, but will give you good service... I use Poulan synthetic at 40:1...pick it up at Lowes...

RE: US 41 questions
A U,S. 41 is a bit much for a 1/4 scale spacewalker, we are running them on 1/3 size. Having said that 40/1 is good for that motor.
