question regarding the fuel line in the tank
hi, i have a question regarding the fuel line in the tank. what happens when there is half fuel in the tank and you go in to a dive......the clunk is obviously out of the fuel and so, how dose the engine run in a long down line?
dose the engine rely on the fuel in the fuel line and not from the tank?
thanks

RE: question regarding the fuel line in the tank
No the clunk is not out of the fuel.
If you assume the clunk is in the back of the tank, then it is in the fuel.
The fuel is in free fall and the plane with the propeller turning is moving faster than free fall so it will keep running. I have tested this as a fact. Take you plane up as high as you or someone else can see, then nose it over and let it come straight down in an idle. It will not shut off.
