Ok, thanks. And what about customer service...is there a limit on that. Can we call your company about questions, etc., and I guess I've had a boat load...sorry.
Most of the time we support ourshelves as users by comparing what others have done in forums like these...but in the odd case, we get a technical issue that we believe we need to defer to the designers to is what I'm referring to.

I think if you do a search on Brillelli you will find the answer to your question is quite obvious I dont think a negative post exists

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*
I wasn't going to post on this thread about Scott's service, as it is pretty off topic.... but, since I have TWO 60's, maybe it's close enough to count.
I first emailed Scott over a year ago, seeking a carb rebuild kit. I think it was a $4 purchase on RCU. Took a couple of emails to sort out my dummy questions, but he answered THEN as if I were buying a motor.
Later, came my almost-incessant questions about the 26GT, as I was "experimenting".... through that ordeal of MY making, Scott provided multiple details, many emails to answer questions that LOTS of folks would just blow off.... HE did *NOT*.
After that purchase came my first 40, then 60, then 46 then.....
There have been some troubles along the way - but except ONE - all of MY doing. Me being "anal" about some minor thing or another, and Scott is there. Phone, email, nearly always the same patient, and thoroughly-service-oriented guy.
I've warned him..... if he keeps up the quality of work, the value of price and performance, and his "personal touch", he will VERY soon have to go full time, and the big dogs will have to be looking for him.... to CATCH UP !!!!
BTW - he provides absolute HONESTY and complete transparency in his communications. If he tells you A = B-C, that is an absolute, and he will back up his comments. NEVER has changed his story from one thing to another, depending on situation. He is NOT one of those that practices 'situational ethics', like so many.

Bob, do you have that engine mounted yet? I can't wait to see some pics of it with the muffler. I saw it cyl side up on a test stand. I want to see it in a plane like that. I also can't wait to hear how it flies. We are in the market for a new plane for the 60 That may be what we go with. Patty flew so well. A little bigger plane could only be better.

This weekend, for sure.... and yes, it will look TERRIFIC. Spacing, firewall distance, etc. just perfect, too! Looks like it will be almost completely in the cowl, except for plug angle/opening, and front of head. Should be easy to direct airflow for cooling; way better than the Yak, anyway.

I like to practice 'situational ethics'. I'm getting pretty good at it.
Seriously,,, I'll share something with you all that have not dealt with Scott. Before your engine even gets broke-in you'll think of him more as a friend than a business dealing.
Can't wait till the twin 60's make their debut.

Carb is a Walbro HDA-48D, same as on the Zenoah G62. Mine don't come with Velocity stacks as I ask Scott not to include them. They are, however, "stock" and come with the motor, if wanted.
I am an anti-velocity stack bigot.
(My bad on original Walbro number - I just LOOKED at the carb, and it really IS an HDA-38D.... thanks, RCIGN, for catching my blunder)

Well, not exactly G62s have used Walbro HDA48 series for at least 19 years...The HDA 48 had a transition problem that was fixed by changing the brass high speed nozzle to part number 86-550 for the A version..Never saw a B version, most were HDA 48C until they changed the length of the steel piece on the end of the throttle shaft...New carbs are HDA 48D, other wise identical to the original HDA 48...If you have a G62 with something else on it, someone changed carbs...
FWIW, maybe if DA would send a 50 to Walbro they could get a carb that worked as well on their engine as the HDA 48D works on the G62
One way to do carb linkage, you can copy it if you want, it works very well

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*
I placed my order today...so as soon as I'm up and running, I'll post a field report.
I really don't see how you can go wrong though with an extra 10cc's & a mere 2 extra ounces of weight over the RTF weight of a DA50 for $100 less. The only way it could be better is if it were an extra 10cc's & a mere 1 extra ounce of weight over the RTF weight of a DA50 for $100 less.
I can't wait to try it out. [8D]

No problem. Old pics. SInce replaced nylon clevis w/ 2-46 Dubro ball link like throttle arm. I soldered on the brass strip to be the "arm" for the choke shaft. Could have used a steering arm, just didn't.

I have both. Both work. Scott piled his Sholl ignition into the earth at his battery test flight last week, and it survived being buried, and kept on tickin. We all know CH works just fine. I've had the Sholl before, too, and it works just dandy.

Scott likes 40:1 all the time, and that's all I've used in all my Brillelli's. I personally use Pennzoil Outdoor Equipment at 40:1. Scott likes Opti II or whatever that is, but I don't think he recommends a specific brand. It's a Husqy chain saw jug, so any good chainsaw lube is probably fine. On one of the early 40's I had, I used Stihl, it seemed fine too. These motors are not "picky", and just like adequate oil, and not too lean a ratio.
