Zenoah G-26 Carb
I am having some problems tuning my Zenoah 26. When I advance the throttle from halve position to full it tends to stall. I already cleaned it up and tried to adjust the high and low needles.
The G-26 came from the factory with the Walbro WT-645 (12.70mm ventury).
I would like to know if a WT-338 Walbro Carb (13.49mm ventury) that I removed from a Zenoah G-38 would work fine on the G-26.
Thanks.

RE: Zenoah G-26 Carb
It seems you are not alone. There are a lot of other people having trouble with their Zenoah 26's both electronic and mag versions. At our club here in south florida the guys have switched to CRRC 26's instead and have had no trouble with them. They weigh 2.5lbs , put out more power than the z and are reliable and easy to start. Oh and a lot cheaper than a z. What more would anybody want. Oh yes Parts and service, no problem, The local distributor has that covered..

RE: Zenoah G-26 Carb
If you cannot adjust the needles counter clockwise enough to remedy the lean condition transitioning to full throttle, you have partially blocked passages, debris in the internal carb screen filter, worn or disfunctional diaphragm membrane, an air leak, etc..... You may even have a crack in the carb spacer block. You won't find something more reliable than the Zenoah. This engine likely just has something overlooked, or easily missed. Is the engine overpropped with a restrictive muffler? How does the plug look? Are you using the older mag type ignition 26, or the newer EI 26?

RE: Zenoah G-26 Carb
It has the magneto ignition. I already cleaned the interior of the carb (screen, etc.) with a carb cleaner spray.
I read that there is a small hole next to the big one on the exit side of the carb (the side going to the cylinder) that sometimes gives trouble. Apparently the gasket (seal) sometimes is not well seated or aligned and there is a leak from the small hole to the large one.
Sorry for my poor English, I don´t know if I made myself clear.
Thanks.

I would like to clean the Carb all over again, just to be sure. Could you tell me which screws and parts should be unassembled and how to clean everything up?
Thanks.
Thanks.
