Question about carberator
I just bought my first gas engine and I am in the process of installing it, the engine is a CRRC 50cc. I am wondering if it is possible to rotate the position of the carberator 180 degrees. The way it is now it will be very difficult to hook up the throttle linkage, it would be simpler if I could just "turn it around".
Has anybody ever done this? It doesn't seem like it would cause any problems but I want to make sure before I try it.

RE: Question about carberator
If you want to turn carb & there is no pulse line - than be sure the stand off block has a pulse track to transfer the pulse to the carb. Done this on several G62's

RE: Question about carberator
If it doesnt have the pulse line, take the carb gasket and flip over 180*.Then mark the hole or just drill a small hole the same size and about 1/16th deep. Then drill aseries of small holes in a straight line to the other pulse circle. Then just clean the holes out with a dremel or file to make a passage from your new hole to connect with the old hole. Then just use the same carb gasket and flip it over if it just has one hole for the pulse.Ill see if i can find one of mine or ill do one and post a pic.Make sure to remove intake manifold off of engine first.
