Smoke from case pressure?

Smoke from case pressure?
Several years ago I saw a Da-50 putting out some very nice smoke, using just the crank case pressure. I have a DL 50 and was wondering what is needed in this setup. I have a perry on/off valve and a check valve laying around not doing anything.

RE: Smoke from case pressure?
Ken, This guy told me he didn't have a pump of any kind on it.
I've done this on a Saito 91 using case pressure and it worked good but not a higher power setting. (3/4 throttle or more) I guess the muffler presure was greater than the case pressure at higher RPMs
Maybe I asked the wrong question.
Take Two:
How would this system work? Would it do like my 4 stroke did?

RE: Smoke from case pressure?
i have this type of smoke system your talking about thanks to scott from berelli. it is quite simple / first you need a pressure line either tapped in to your carb pulse line or the engine block. next i used a 4 inch black gas line because it stands the heat close to the engine then a one way check valve . then another line to the tank and your tank is now pressurized, a second line comes out of the tank( this is the line that has the clunk on it ) to your servo operated perry valve. the from the valve a line to the muffler. ps you will have to have a pressure tap installed in your muffler preferrebly close to the the hottest spot on the muffler witch iis at the intake side. ps use black neoprene hose going in to the muffler as it takes the heat also tie every hose on very tight with plastic ties and near the muffler with a wire tie to take the heat. there is quite a bit of pressure build up and if a hose came off it will empty a 16 ounce tank in 30 seconds i hope this helps i have had great sucsess with this on my yak 54. scott

RE: Smoke from case pressure?
ps kelly my perry valve would not stay full open in relation to the valve arm . it would move after awile and i woud not get full flow of oil i think the lock nut on the other side of the valve would back of so maybe look through the valve to make sure it is all the way open in relation to the arms angle before you install the valve . glad i could help.

a reguler dubro gas tank works great no problems. with the valve full open on a 10 ounce tank gives me 2 minutes full smoke .also with this smoke system you save weight on not having the pump or extra battery .
