Default Engine that will not stop running

Have seen this posted in a couple of the engines thread.

We have had the same problem with a couple of our engines and found it to be that the butter fly is not seated right and will not close all the way.
If you are having this problem after you have check to make sure all else is working right you can remove the carb, Make sure the idle stop screw is out or out enough to let it close and look through the carb and see if you can see light around the butter fly.
If so you can lightly loosen the screw that holds the butter fly (do not remove it) and lightly tap on the butter fly and it will seat. Now put a light drop of lock tite around the head of the screw and re tighten it. do not let the lock tite get on the throttle shaft or it will make it stiff and hard to rotate and then you have a bigger problem.

I really do not like for people to do this, I try to replace the carb, If not done right the screw can come out while running the engine and do some major damage to the engine.
So do at your own risk
