SPE 26cc props
Have a spe 26cc on a seagull models yak 54 and trying to find the magic prop. The engine is still on the rich side and the 16x8 is just enough to pull it through the sky was wondering if any one else has played with this engine and what prop works the best. Thinking about goin to a 15x10 next

RE: SPE 26cc props
idigrc2,
17-6 in a quality prop.......xoar, menz, vess. APC if you need the nose weight....... I've got my SPE 26 in a funtana...it gets better with each flight, but I don't think it's going to be enough engine for this plane. If you want unlimited vertical, keep the all up weight below 9 lbs.

RE: SPE 26cc props
Ihave a seagull yak with the same motor runnig an 18 X 6 and it is starting to put out power. Almost unlimited vertical. I started out with a 16 X 8 and was not happy. I didn't think it would turn a bigger prop, but bingo, the 18 did the trick. Itried a 17 also.
