ignition wire touching exhaust components

I just switched to a pitts muffler on my DL50cc powered cap. The main spark plug/ ignition wire now comes in contact with it. I know i can rotate it but it will then protrude out the cowl. Is there something i can rap it in to prevent damage. Thanks

Nope. The wire insualtion inside the wrap will still melt, and damage to the wire will occur. Move the wire.

I took two pieces of large silicone fuel line and slit them length wise with scissors and used zip ties to put them over the ig. wire where it might touch my pipes. Works slick.
