Default 50cc mufflers/diverters

Does anyone know what kind of modification would be required on those 50cc exhaust diverters to drop a few db ?

I have access to aluminum welding etc.

Thanks,

L

Default RE: 50cc mufflers/diverters

Find some piping (preferably thin aluminum) that has an OD equal to that of the ID of your exhaust pipe. Drill holes on the pipe (about the same area as the ID) on the pipe. Cut is so it is flush with the top. Secure with a screw or welding and you should be good to go. Expect 200rpm drop and a decibel drop of 4-5.
