Just like my MVVS 26cc; carb is too close to the prop drive.

What difference does that make, Charley? You shouldn't be adjusting the carb with the engine running anyway.

does that carb being there pose any running issues for ya 26 with the incoming air from the cowl?

They work great on round cowls and no cowl airframes. I had a MVVS 26 on a Edge 540 and Katana, and in both cases the front of the cowl had to be cut quite a bit to fit. It was pretty ugly. I would guess an inverted installation on any cowl with a 'prop hub ring' like a 540 or Katana would be a mess.
