Default Walbro 694 vs 255C

Hi,
I recently purchased 2 SV-26 gas engines (about 2 months apart) and one has a Walbro WT694 and the other has a WT 255.
I spend about 1 hour on the Walbro internet site and I was not able to find out what is the difference between these 2 carbs.
Other than one has the body casting come up and around the mix screws while the other has screws that are just standing up 9baiscally unprotected) I do not see any other visual difference.
Can anyone tell me if they are basically the same carb or should I expect difference performance?

Thanks!
KC

According to Walbro . . . .

WT-694 has a 12.7mm venturi, a high speed nozzle check valve, and a choke

WT-255 has a 9.53mm venturi, an air purge primer bulb, a high speed nozzle check valve, and a choke

Wow - significant difference in venturi size but mine does not a external (my assumption) bulb of any sort. Sure makes me wonder what I really have - China clone/copy perhaps?

The 12.7 is probably too big for a 26 (You may find transition issues) if not on a highly tuned engine like a Zenoah or other high end type.
And the 9.5 too small. Restricting RPM by 500 to 1000.
The 11.1 venturi walbro is probably the best allround size for a chinese 26.
My SPE came with a 9.5 but I believe others had a 11.1 venturi's.

The Walbro WA-167-1 at 11.1mm #28 would be a perfect choice for that engine. It was the G-23 carb at one time.

Seems strange that they would equip engines with different carbs. Maybe not.....
Perhaps they found out, as suggested in the above reply, that the 11.1 mm venturi was too large (my first engine bought last summer) vs the 9.53 venturi on the engine I bought 2 weeks ago so they downsized it. Oh well, I guess that's what you get from Chinese manufacturers.
Could be they just put on anything close that they get the best price on.
Thanks to everyone for the input. I think I will now call the Dealer and see what they have to say -

Probably what they got a deal on at the time the engine was assembled.
