Read a recent review in the M.A.N Jan 2010 monthly mag in which Gerry Yarrish said that he was quite impressed with it's performance, turning a APC 14x8 at 8,200 rpm running on 87 octane gas mixed with Pennzoil at 32:1. You can watch the video of the engine running at : blogs-modelairplanenews.com/profile_blogs/Gerry_Yarrish/&action=view&id=1067

A friend of mine and Iboth bought one of these engines. They both started real easy right out of the box but they sound rich no matter what you do . We have tried every needle setting possible but they still gurggle and run in a rich mode and will not peak out. We did find that 6 volts is best for the ignition. Since the engine has two rings we are hoping more run time may be the cure but Ialready have over two hours on mine and it still doesn't want to peak. Any suggestions are wqelcomed

On practically all Chinese engines.
