Default Wiring For a Rcexcel Kill Switch

Does anyone have a quick sketch of how to wire one of these up when are are also using a manual on/off switch. I want to be able to use either one to kill the motor. Thanks in advance.

Just install it between your regular switch and the ignition power connecter

That's not the one you should use. Use this one. Dan.

Smart-fly stuff Great !!! My favorite!!

The RCExcell cutoff switches work well too. You can install a manual cut off switch between the power source and the switch as stated above.

The RCEXL switches are good! I use them exclusively.
Click above.... go to Article #8. It will show you how to set up the RCEXL cut off switch... Easy easy..

Cheers

Unless ..... people have the 14ch Futaba Rx. I believe there are some issues with the low-voltage signal from that Rx

Why should use the smart-fly instead the RCEXL ?
I know more than 500 satisfied modellers in my country using the RCEXL.
None using the smart-fly (not sold here)
Regards

Surelly is better, but RCEXL v2 has a DIY feature to get the current for the ignition module from the receiver. No issues (tested on some airplanes).
On small airplanes with small gas engines you don't need a second battery for the ignition.
Maybe someone will post saying i'm wrong doing that. But maybe they need to 'change their switch'

Regards
