webra Bully 35cc
I what size prop do you folks like on this engine? The instructions say, 18X10, 18X8, 20X6 and 20X10.
This is running on GAS not glow. Will this engine really toss around a 20X10? (eventhough I have 3 of these engines, I have little experence with them) Thanks Tim |
RE: webra Bully 35cc
If you ever decide to sale one of your engines let me know ,,,,

RE: webra Bully 35cc
Sure thing. I have three going on four .... I am now swinging a 19X10 at 7000 RPM with a new rig / bearings on petro. I love this engine.
The engine weighs 2.6 lbs w/o muffler or ign.... they were really ahead of thier time.. Tim |
RE: webra Bully 35cc
Webra Bulley built by 3W. Ihave one on glow that will turn a Zinger 18/10 at 9000 rpm.
this is with tuned muffler system. I have seen it turn 9800 but is where they come apart. Ihave been told that a bolley 18/10 will improve the preformace of this engine. have not bought one yet they cost about $48.00 |

What comes apart ??

RE: webra Bully 35cc
They don't come apart. They where made in '80... and I have 3 still going strong...
The head is a husky... are you sure these where made by 3W? anyhow, I have a bulley that out does the RCS 180 and is lighter... go figure. Boy do they love the Ultra props too... I have seen this engine fly a 38 lb warbird on a video tape I have of Rally of the Giants... what a cool application (can't remeber which war bird) I collect these guys, and moving to engine #4 in the next week. Amsoil 100:1 works the best and an upgrade to a C&H ignition is worth it. cheers Tim |
RE: webra Bully 35cc
The warbird is owned by Diego Lopez, I think it's a Skyraider, something like 17 servos, everything works just like a real one..He and Gene Barton had 10 of the engines at one time..There was a twin made by Gene, don't know what ever happened to it..The crank is a Husky too, the case was made for airplanes..They really screwed up when they quit making them..I have one for myself.....

RE: webra Bully 35cc
Yes it was, and it weighed 42 lbs. Had a custom made folding wing mechanism that also did the main retracts. I was told just the center section of the wing weighed 20lbs

RE: webra Bully 35cc
I ran a Bully on gas for a while last year. Rpm was about 7.900 on an APC 18x10, equipped with a 50cc size canister exhaust originally for a DA 50.
