Question......

I have a pitts muffler mounted on an inverted G-38. The muffler is really, really close to the firewall and the cheeks that hold the cowling.

What is the best way to heat/fire proof the wood (short of the BVM ceramic stuff.)

I'm open to suggestions..

Thanks,

Question......

I have used sticky back aluminum foil. Just make sure to fuel proof the edges with epoxy or something like that.
