Odd Carb Problem= DLE 30 side carb
My DLE 30 side carb will not slow down to a reasonable idle. am sure it is not in the linkage as I unhooked the linkage and moved the arm on the throttle to its full idle. It is still running about 2500 or more. The brass flapper on the throttle arm can be seen closed all the way and the engine just keeps running. The aceleration is perfect, the high end is right up there. Just it will not slow down to an usable idle. Any idea's or suggestions. I repeat I pushed the throttle all the way closed while running and it just keeps going. Stuka Jon

RE: Odd Carb Problem= DLE 30 side carb
Soarrich You were right. When I put the newly cleaned carb back on, the gasket between the Insalator and the block fell off one of the bolts. This was on the bottom of the carb. Did not see it and tightened it up. Put the gasket back in its proper place and its running better the ever. THANKS:D:D Stuka Jon
