Motor Mount

I am changing the engine on my Extra 300 and the new engine is shorter than the G-38 by 1 3/8" I need to come up with a set of standoffs or a motor box that lets me move the engine forward.

Any great ideas without making something heavy?
Anyone with pics would be appreciated.
