Looks like a Tiger 60! Fun planes.

Andika,
These go for about $400.00 from BME. Tom does a nice job!

Thanks. It does look like the "Sky Tiger" series and that's why I like it. Actually it is a Nitro Planes "Trainer 60". They only cost 69 bucks!! I kit bashed it. Changed it to a tail dragger, enlarged all the control surfaces, (by more than double), and of course added the Troll family. It really flies well and I am pleased with it. Does an amazing Lomcevak believe it or not. I built it as a day to day "knock around" plane, and one that I will probably take with me when I travel.

It doesn't appear to have the long moment arms and hish aspect ratios like the Goldberg Tiger series?

Those features were what made the Goldberg Tigers fly so smooth.

Though the plane in this picture is not a Goldberg Tiger, it is based on one. This one has a G23 engine. I once saw another with a Saito 182.

It was a FG kit made by someone in Tenn. I think? Do not know what its name was?

Just wieghed the engine and the motor is only 22.3 ounces. Ignition is 3.5 ounces. Total= 25.8 ounces. I'm very pleased with the weight. The plane this one is going in had a Saito 130 twin than weighed in at a porky 46 ounces. So I've dropped a pound and a half on this one! And have'nt lost any power!!

w8ye,
That looks like a stretched Tiger Mod!

Had a chance to run this engine yesterday and was very pleased. It has LOTs of power and transition from idle to full is very smooth. I've had issues with other brands on the transition. This one is outstanding!! I may have to build a funfly plane for this one and get some thing else for my Cub.

Sounds like a plan. Before making the plane I posted about above, I had mine in a Twist 60 from Hangar 9. It was a blast!

I have an old Bridi Rockwell P-51 this engine is going in. A couple of tweaks and it should fit fine. What size tank are you using? I was trying to find something smaller than 8 oz since it appears it will fly a plane for 20 minutes at that size.

I'll try and get some info off of it today.

I am not sure but I think Ken Lambert still does a real nice conversion of a SuperTiger .90 that really works out well. He places needle bearings on the rod and installs a Walbro carb. Check it out on youTube. Thanks Capt,n
