What's the most effective way to clean the exterior of the engine. Soak in some solution, then scrub with old toothbrush??Thanks!!

Fill an old crock pot with Ethylene Glycol anti-freeze, cook for a few hours, come out clean....

Jim:

The crock pot and anti-freeze methods works very well. Use low heat (high heat can discolor aluminum).

I have also used heavy-duty paint and varnish remover and had success with that method. Stuff is toxic so you need to be careful there.

Hey, you coming to our Labor Day "Buy-and-Fly" Swap Meet???
