Bme 50 Prop size

I have a BME 50 on a 29% Areoworks Edge 540. Have 100 flights on it. Started with a 22/10 Mejlik as recommended. Then I went to a 22/8 Mejlik for more power and less speed. This set-up seems to work good for me but I am not an expert flyer but am working on it. What are those of you with this plane and engine using??-Thansk-Jerry

I'm using the same prop(s) you are. I've used the 22/10 and the 22/8.

The plane is a DP Extra 330L.

Cheers,

Sean

Right now I'm running a Mejzlik 21x10 on my BME 50 powered 29% Edge. I have a 22x8 but I havn't tried it yet.

On my 29% aeroworks and bme 50, I tried the menz 22x8, 22x10 (ultra) , Mejzlik 22x10, and Moki 22x10. I liked the moki prop best of all for 3D and IMAC, maybe consider the moki, I liked it.

Has anyone tried the 22/10 Bolly. I have one I want to try on a GP Pitts with BME 50. How does the Bolly compare to the Moki prop?

Gare:

I've been using the 22x10 Bolly on my BME 50 along with a 22x10 Mejzlik and a 22x8 NX (AirWild). So far I prefer (in this order) the NX, Bolly and last the Mejzlik. The NX and Bolly are very close in my preference and both are very strong pullers. Next I want to try a MSC and see how that works with the BME. Just my 2 cents, or thoughts on what I have and have used so far.
