DLE Tachometer
Hello all,
I used my brand new DLE tachometer on my new DLE-55 using the extra connection and a 12 inches extension cable. At low RPM the tachometer show 8 and only start to pick up speed if I rev up. After few seconds it goes back to 8 and searching for speed again. I'm using 6.6 Life battery and an ignition battery Eliminator from WIKE R/C Product.. Is yours doing that as well? Thanks. |
RE: DLE Tachometer
Not my experience at all. Try connecting the tachometer directly to the ignition and see if the same thing happens.

Also, I believe the instructions state that if it doesn't work properly, that can be an indication of radio interference. Then again, you might just have a faulty tach.

its aknown issue with the rxcel tacho and rxcel igition output. Just stick the y lead in the sensor wire to ignition box wire and you will be golden.<br type="_moz" />

I tried two, neither worked, gave up. The first one is shown below, returned for replacement, the second one read 3 -7's if memory serves me correctly.

I gave up also on those type,s of tack...I do not need one anyway. My ear and carefull tuning is good enough for me.

RE: DLE Tachometer
yes you were right, the module connected with the Y to the sensor work like a charm.
Thanks |
