Front dump canister mufflers for DLE 30
 

I'm looking for the front exhaust canister muffler for a DLE 30, the one that has the flex pipe header. Last year you could find these all over, now, it seems like they are nowhere to be found. My new Pilot Sbach is gonna need one of these. Anyone have any links for these in stock?

Graves has one for the 26cc engines, not sure if that will run on a 30 not

I tried one of the chinese front dump cannisters on one of my DLE 30 engines and I was not satisfied . It was listed for use with 26 to 30 cc engines but it didnt flow well with the 30cc . I tried all the tuning tricks to get better performance from it but ended up putting a wrap around pitts on it to get the power back. I had it setup in my Red Wing MXS-R , nice fit ,quiet , but greatly reduced the power . I pulled it all out and bench mounted the engine and pipe to play with header lengths , timing , carbs . etc ...
and never could get it to run correctly on the cannister . Installed the wrap around and reset the carb and gained 500 peak rpm and better throttle responce. But also gained more noise ....

3D Hobby Shop sold a canister setup for this engine at one time.
