zdz super 80 piston
 

i,m looking for a piston for my zdz super 80,i have tried troybuilt models and amr in canada with no luck.does anyone know where else i might find one or another source for pistons.i bought this engine used and from thre pictures it looked clean inside.when i received it the compression was low.so i took it apart and found the cylinder and piston scuffed from carbon.i can get a new cylinder and a piston ring,but having a hard time getting a piston.without a piston i guess the engine becomes a paper weight.

Why not just get a new ring(best from Bowman) and try it?

+1 Polish the piston and get a new ring.

Worst case scenario is that you could send the piston to one of the companies that do coatings. You could have a skirt coating applied. Also have the crown of the piston done.
