Cactus Aviation (Fox Engine) 150cc Twin

5 Attachment(s)
I'm looking for any feedback / documentation (manual, instructions, advertisement, exploded parts view, etc.) regarding a engine that I recently purchased. It was described as a Cactus Aviation 150cc Twin but made by Fox (name appears on the backplate). The engine is in excellent shape for not being run in 10-12 years so I was told. The obvious problem is that I am missing both mufflers but I may be able to locate elsewhere hopefully. Including some photos for those who are interested in helping in its identification. There are cast markings on one of the cylinders which may help with the identification. It reads 49 ZN4 W1 + MAHLE. In addition it says 9C.. Any help will be appreciated. - Ed

The first thing you want to do is rebuild the carburetor. You’re lucky because it’s a genuine Walbro and the rebuild kits are readily available. Look around the body of the carb and go to this website to get the kit number. By the way those Mahle cylinders and piston assemblies are bullet proof. Dan.

Try here for mufflers. They will need the Mahle number. Dan.

Dang, Mahle pistons in an RC engine? Nice.

It's a Fox! They were built to last (most of them anyway).
