Chinese made Brisons?
As a pseudo collector of 3.2 Brisons I am always on the prowl for them. I came across this the other day:
http://www.haichomiro.com/index.php?...keyword=brison I inquired as to how many they had and was politely told in a chinese style email pretty much-how many do you want. Anybody know anything about these folks? |
Interesting! I find it hard to believe they would copy these older engine designs. I would find it easier to believe this a bogus ad where they will gladly take your money and never deliver the product. Notice they use the same artwork / photos from the original Brison engine advertising. Buy one or several and report back with the results.

Notice the ignition advance shown in the pics? Seems like a big 'ol red flag here.....

This is a a rip off site, They show a Brillelli and that is a chain saw conversion. Milton |
Brisons have the mechanical ignition advance-that's what makes them so cool!
|
They had the mechanical advance early on but later versions were all electronic advance. I still own both versions of several of these engines.
|
Was always my belief that they started life as mechanical adv but you converted them to electronic when you auger-ed them in and messed up the linkage. I'm up to 8 now (don't tell the wife), only one has electronic adv and it has been converted.

I have just been informed by Arthur Leung, the designer and owner of the Brison line of engines, that the website is illegitimate and unauthorized by him. Dan.
