kavan engine

Does anyone know anything about how to operate a kavan engine. I am an aerospace engineering student and I am studying airfoils. We bought a Kavan engine and are having trouble with operation. What could I do to find out more about this motor and how to operate it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a KAVAN 50cc twin opposed boxer?
