BME 102 or 102 EVO?

What is the easiest and most definative way to tell if you have a 102 or a 102 EVO? What are the actual performance differences. Thanks for any replies.

RE: BME 102 or 102 EVO?

The 102 has a spacer plate between the bottom of each cylinder and the crankcase, to accomodate the increased stroke crankshaft that took the original 5.8 cubic inch BME out to 6.2 cu. in. (102 cc). BME later updated the crankcase (the EVO) that, among other things, eliminated the need for the spacer plates, and also accomodated a new twin petal higher flowing reed assembly, which added a bit more power.

How can you tell if you have the 3 bearing crank or not?
Does the back plate look different?
