your engine dies when you start to run it up and perhaps idles sporatically. I think i accidentally left ignition on for a couple of days. First flight was OK. but the next time it would not run up, kept dieing. Also think it was missing on idle. No way to check ignition voltage, but I think that it might have been low. does this make since. PS: this is an MVVS 1.60 Gasser.

Add a hobbico volt watch to the circuit. That way you can monitor the battery with and without load. On my Brison with C&H Ignition, the load seems higher when I first start the engine and after is has run and warmed up, it is lower. (voltage higher)

Rough running at any speed CAN be caused by low voltage, but a lot of other things can cause the same symptoms!

Don't you have an expanded scale voltmeter to monitor your receiver battery condition? Just use it on the ignition battery as well.

I run the regular radio switch harness with mine so I can check it and charge it just like I can with the radio.
