BME 110 question
For those who have the 110, is the C&H ignition good at 6.0v or 4.8?
|
RE: BME 110 question
recommended 4.8

RE: BME 110 question
According to C&H it is good at both!
************************************* What Battery should I use? The unit is designed to run on 4.8-6vcd (4 or 5 cell nicad packs) of 800ma or better. The unit will also work with Dura-lites. ************************************* ORIGINAL: flyinrazrback For those who have the 110, is the C&H ignition good at 6.0v or 4.8? |
RE: BME 110 question
Yeah I read that too, I think I will go with the 6v regulated at 6v. I am ready to crank this thing up and see how it flys my new H9 33% edge. Hopefully will have no problems

RE: BME 110 question
Be ready to use EXTREME throttle management! If it's anything like mine on my H9 Cap, it's going to be seriously over powered! Too fast and you'll certainly have a problem.
Have fun! Jim |
RE: BME 110 question
did you change the factory settings on the needles when you ran it first time?

You have a BME 110 on a 97 inch plane?
Now that is raw power. ORIGINAL: flyinrazrback Yeah I read that too, I think I will go with the 6v regulated at 6v. I am ready to crank this thing up and see how it flys my new H9 33% edge. Hopefully will have no problems |
RE: BME 110 question
Yep, its going on the new H9 Edge, it was the only twin that would fit the cowling. Going to fly it the rest of the year to break the engine in, and then in the winter put it on an aerotech 35% yak with full length tuned pipes. I am hoping the edge comes in at 22lbs or less for good performance.
