Muffler for G-62

Ok i need a new wrap around muffler for my G62 and it's on a TF P-51. I have about 5 1/4 inch gap from the exhaust out on the engine to the firewall. I was looking at a slimline wraparound anyone know how long it is? I was told they discontinued the regular one for G62, but are still making the smoke version. Any other mufflers out there i can use?

I just purchased the wrap around pitts style this summer with smoke. I got it from Tower Hobbies for $114. I've tried J&A and Bisson also, and seem to favor the Slimline for low noise levels...............

Hi Java, I have a slimline wraparound muffler on a G62. Here is the measurements I get on mine. Muffler body is 5 and 1/8 wide. 5 and 3/8 from front of arm to back of muffler. From the mount plate to back of muffler is 2 and 7/8. From prop shaft to back of muffler is 8 inchs. Hope this helps. Wayne

I read your post again and the distance from the front muffler bolt to the back of muffler body is 5 and 3/16 inchs. This is probly going to be a close fit for your plane. Wayne
