25cc trainer plane
 
Hi iam loking for a trainer or some sort of high wing plane for a 25cc gas engine. It was given to me from a friend its an old weed wacker conversion its all setup and ready to install. but i cant seam to find a plane to put it in so if any one knows of any good kits or arfs i would be happy to here from you. thanks!

You might want to check out the Tree Hopper from RC Guy's. I picked one up but have not been able to build it yet. The price is right and it isn't a difficult build from what I have seen....Brian

J-3, How does the kit look? The quality of the wood and instructions? I understand they do not include any hardware, and thats ok, I replace included hardware for some better stuff most of the time. I think it looks like a big trainer, and something to just putt around the sky on a low key day. Thanks,

You might want to also consider a 1.20 size stick like the Hangar 9 Ultra Stick light. I have a G-23 in the old heavier ultra stick and it flies well. The other advantage is that the engine is fully exposed and if this is your first gas engine it's just that much easier to adjust. If you do consider a stick, you can install the elevator and rudder servos in the rear for balancing with a heavy gasser up front. It's pretty easy.
