RE: Ace 4-120 Bipe Ultimate bash
ORIGINAL: Pit-Viper 1 Kind of a stretch but, I recently came across the old ACE SeaMaster 120 kit and when I was going thru the blueprints I quickly realized that I also had a set of plans for the 4-120 Bipe, now all I need is a manual. Would anyone be willing to sell or even copy this manual? I will need one for a complete build. Thanks Shane CR |

RE: Ace 4-120 Bipe Ultimate bash
I to am looking for the manual for the Ace 4-120 Bipe, if anyone has one it would be very much appreciated. It's to bad they don't make their kits anymore. I still have a Seamaster w/70 surpass and a 4-40 bipe still flying. I also have a Seamaster 120 yet to be built with Saito 120 power ???
Thanks TC |

top cat,
Are you able to post a pic of the Pylon from your Seamaster kit? I wanted to see what the standard one looks like. Mine is missing, but for $50 unassembled, I couldn't pass it up. I'm just gonna use 3 pieces or 1/4" ply and epoxy them together for the Plyon. Same here on the 120-Bipe manual, I will take copies if need be. Got plans just need a manual to base the build off of. Pit-Viper 1
The pylon for the seamaster 120 is a piece of 3/4' marine grade pywood. I think if you epoxy 3 1/4 pieces together it would not fit between the formers. Top_Cat |

Thanks for the heads-up.. Hopefully I will be starting it by Spring, got 2 other projects ahead of it though.

RE: Ace 4-120 Bipe Ultimate bash
Hi Charlie,
I recently acquired a ACE 4-120 bi-plane. It has ailerons only on the bottom wing but they are rather large. Would you happen to remember the CG location for this bi-plane?? Mine has an Enya 120 4 stroke and I hope to fly it this week-end. May switch to a 26cc gasser later. Thanks for any help you might offer. Warmest regards, Terry |
