I have a Brison 3.2 in my 27% Cap 232 and it's been great. It's easy to start, never had a dead stick and relatively light in comparison to other 50cc engines and I'm very happy with it! Good reliable engine.

You will not find a more user friendly engine anywhere.

Get it with mechanical advance.

A Brison 3.2, or any of the Brison engines for that matter, are strong, friendly, and reliable engines that sell for less cost than most of the engines available in a similar size. A Brison engine will often weigh a bit more than a BME, DA or 3W, but that usually will not present any problems and will actually assist in the aircraft balancing act. The exception to the weights is the 6.4 (104cc) Brison twin which weighs less than a DA 100.

They last forever and require little to zero maintennance if you don't stuff them into the ground and take the proper care in the oil mixes. They run extremely well at a 70-1 or 80-1 synthetic oil mix. You will have a choice of ignition timing types with a 3.2 Brison being either an auto advance or throttle coupled advance system. Both will be by CH ignitions, one of the leading ignition manufacturers in the U.S. I personally prefer the the throttle coupled advanced to provide the best mid range money can buy.

Good value, good engine.

I have 2 Brison 3.2's. I absolutely love them, plus everything Silversurfer said. They are powerful, dependable, and Brison's customer service is wonderful, although you will probably never need it.

Now you are on the right track.. I would stay away from the fugi unless you want to by the one I have for $300... :D I understand that you either get a good one or a lemon, I chose to get the lemon verson because I really don't like flying anyway.;)..and have had to change the cylinder (cracked) the flywheel (not runing true) and the ingition....I would go with the Brison, they are a pretty good bang for the dollar.

Take care,

Riverdancer

Ditto to all the above! My Brison 3.2 with mechanical advance has been an awesome engine for my 29% Aeroworks Edge 540... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Brison engine!

I have one and it is a great engine. Runs forever and starts on the second flip every time.
