Engine Mounting Plate

Posting here, 'cause don't know a better place. I am in need of an aluminum plate for making a custom adaptation to my BME Yak for the new Taurus T-52 arriving today! I am going to mount the alum plate to the rear of the Taurus, similar to a Brison setup, then attach the plate to existing standoff locations.

Anyone know of a source to get me a single sample of a 3/16" alum plate, roughly 3.25 x 3.0 in. ?? Doesn't need any drilled holes, just be a good rectangle.... any help, please PM !!!

Thanks....

The local metal fabrication shop has cut pieces for me when I need them. They have a huge shear that cuts them nice, clean, & square. 3/16 or 1/4". Price is usually real reasonable as they can get what is needed from scrap.

Hi,
Pete at www.wackerengines.com will sell you a blank finished plate for cheap. He also has them drilled for many engines or to your needs.
