Help with wiring an engine kill switch.
Hello all,
I have recently completed the great planes extra 330L kit and eagerly await mounting the new Fuji 86cc twin I've purchased. Along with the engine, It was suggested I purchase the great planes engine kill switch which I did but to my surprise absolutely no instructions were included. I'm sure the installation of a simple kill switch is mundane to most here but again, I'm new to this arena of the hobby so any help and advise will be greatly appreciated. Can someone help me by explaining how this kill switch is installed on this particular engine? The engine has attached to it a device labeled Advanced Timing Module. Two leads protrude from this module. One of them is already connected by two wires branching out two both coils. The other lead has a female crimp-able connector ready for another wire. Is this where I will connect the kill switch? Thanks in advance for the help! Brian |

RE: Help with wiring an engine kill switch.
Above answer is correct. The reason of course is to make it safe to turn the engine over by hand while you are priming the engine and also to have a way to kill the engine if you can't kill it from your transmitter.
