RCS 180: please help

Hi

I tested run the RCS 180 with a fully charged 2100 Mah Nimh battery today. Same result: the engine is very difficult to start. Some time, smoke will come out of the back of the carb. If I am lucky and have it started, it will run with unstable RPM, and eventually quit after let idle for 10-20 seconds.

The engine is bought new, has never been inolved in a crash and has this problem after first gallon of fuel went through. It has been sent back to RCShocase twice. Before that, RCShowcas has nicely sent me 2 carbs and 1 ignition module to test. The problem persists.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Mike at RCS, can you please do something about the engine? I really do not want to waste any time on it!
