RE: BCMA-SPE26 - 26cc Engine
It has been getting a lot of attention plus favourable comments from several users on this forum since it's recent appearance, mostly about it's weight, performance and very reasonable cost. Use the search feature here and see for yourself.

ORIGINAL: puffthemajicdragonallday what do you think about this motor? http://www.bcmaengines.clearwire.net/BCMA26.htm This guy sells a version of this enginss offers it with a better ignition..and his customer service is great! If you are looking for a smaller engine for 60 - 120 sz plane you will love it. |

I also offer the C&H igntion as well. My stock auto advance ignition is a budget choice but it is taylored to these engines for performance advantage.

Let me throw in my $0.02 as well. As mentioned above, there's a whole thread dedicated to BCMA Engines elsewhere, in which I've posted many comments. However, short version:
Adam (blackbaron), the owner of BCMA, is a terrific guy to work with. Great service, reasonable policies, and high level of response and availability. I own his SPE 40 with a C&H ignition. Price is unbeatable, reliability is high, good performance. In short, I don't think you'll regret an SPE 26 at ALL. |
