I usually set my plugs at about 27. 25 to 30 is good.

I I think you will find that the CM6 plugs used in the DA and 3W engines are set at .015 to.018.

DA50 instructions say .018 to .020.

Thanks guys, it has been a while and I do not have a manual any more... I do use the CM6 so I will play with them in the 15 to 20 thou range (start in the middle) till I feel like I am right.

I was told a #11 exacto blade is perfect... anyone else heard this? My mic is broken, so I can't measure one.

Correct, .018-.020 or #11 Xacto blade is good.

Damn, I've been gapping mine the same as the standard plugs in my singles[:@]

RE: DA 150 plug gap

Just what I've been saying for years, plug gaps are not at all critical..I just ran a 3W 150, set the gaps by eyeball, somewhere over .020..
Too close and the engine will miss at high rpms. too wide and the same thing...I once cut the side electrode clean off on a converted G62, still ran but missed a WOT...
Anybody thinks a .002 difference in a plug gap makes any difference is kidding himself...
